Dear Family & Friends,

We are encouraged to see how many of you have been willing to set time apart to become part of the relief effort in Haiti.  Praise the Lord.  We want you to know that our AMEN missions staff has been working, often around the clock, to streamline volunteers for short term missions projects in Port au Prince.  There are many variables that  are still out of our control, but the Lord has provided key individuals to make possible the launch of our first official group in the next few days.  Many of you who can not take the time off from work to go to Haiti have been asking me how you can contribute to this campaign.  The answer is obvious.  As our groups begin to arrive in Haiti we will be getting real-time feedback regarding specific needs.  AMEN would like to respond to these needs efficiently as they arise.  Equipment such as satellite phones, medical equipment, instruments, and medicines often can’t be borrowed and require funding to make them available.  As Co-Director of AMEN Missions, I’m asking that you would prayerfully consider donating to this effort so these needs could be met in a timely fashion.  I assure you that your tax-deductible contribution will go directly to support the AMEN doctors and staff who will be working in the following weeks to bring relief to the people of Haiti during this time of crisis.  Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.  You may go to the following link to make your donation: Thank you and keep prayers going up as we know these catastrophes will increase in frequency as “The Day of Christ” approaches.
